Our client, an established electrical engineering firm, is currently recruiting a Contract Health & Safety Officer to oversee project activities at Dublin Airport. Reporting to the Contract Manager, the successful candidate will be solely responsible for managing the client’s health & safety requirements on an ongoing project. As Health & Safety Officer, the duties & responsibilities will include: Carrying out safety inspections Carrying out risk assessments and method statements when required Liaising with the DAA representatives on permits and ongoing project requirements Investigating incidents Ensuring compliance with legislation and DAA site rules
The Successful Candidate will: Have a 3rd level qualification in Health & Safety Have 3+ years’ experience in Health & Safety with an electrical or mechanical engineering background
Have a full clean driver’s licence
Be fluent in English with strong communication skills
Be available for night-work and weekend work
